How Booktok works
Every sale and swap goes through Booktok, so nobody hands money to a stranger and hopes.
Buying
- 01Add books from one seller to your basket. They travel together as one parcel.
- 02Pay into escrow on Sifalo’s page: EVC, ZAAD, SAHAL, eDahab, Premier Wallet or a card.
- 03The seller sends within three days and tells you when to expect it.
- 04Confirm it arrived and the money is released. If it doesn’t come, or isn’t as described, open a claim instead.
Swapping
- 01Offer a swap in a chat: one or more of your books for one or more of theirs.
- 02Once it is accepted, each of you sends your book.
- 03Each of you confirms yours arrived, and the swap is done. Add cash to one side and it is held in escrow like a sale.
Selling
- 01List a book in four steps: the title, its condition and price, four photos of this copy, and a review.
- 02When it sells, send it within three days and say when it should arrive.
- 03Once the buyer confirms, Booktok sends your money to your mobile wallet.

A seller’s fee comes out of their payout, never added to the buyer’s price. You pay what you see.
